So inspired by this article was curious what superstitions you have and what plans you have in 2015?
My best year was 2004 when I had a #22 jersey (my Tre Smith jersey) and never washed it that whole season. Every now and then I pull it out (was washed after we lost in 05) but just hasn't had same affect since then....
This year we are grilling something related to our opponent and I will be rocking my new AU polo and some blue athletic socks. Still trying to decide whether to go hat or not. Will be a game time decision

Well, I just bought a new hat and shirt. Hopefully they have some !agic in them. I'll wear them every week until AU loses. (if we lose) If that happens I'll start to swap it up.
Slightly gross, but i also don't clip my fingernails so I can chew them off if its a close game.

I've contemplated breaking out my old Trooper Towel for this season. I only used it in 2010.

You're not the only one. About 2 hours before kickoff I'm a drunk nervous disaster..

It drives my wife crazy cuz I do the same thing
As I get older though I realize I am turning into my father. When he watches games he is so negative until the very end when we win & he gets on to me for not believing we are gonna win the whole time I noticed doing that to my wife a couple times last season

I used to have them, until they all failed.

In my house there is the "lucky chair". a rocking chair that used to be my grandfathers. One of my favorites. During 2010, I sat in that chair every game...and we won every time.
Except during the 2010 Iron Bowl. Went to my sisters to watch the game. We were getting our arse kicked up to half time. I was literally sent home to sit in the lucky chair. Guess what we came back and won. I had my kids literally bowing to the lucky chair. It now has a plaque on it commorating that season.
Wasnt quite so lucky in 2012, but got its mojo back in 2013. At the Kick Six Iron bowl, I literally almost brought that chair to the tailgate. I didnt have a ticket and watched the whole damn game from the tailgate area.
My bro in law had a lucky auburn shirt he wore for every game in 2010. That sucker is framed in my nephews room now!

2010 I woke up the first game, went to McDonald's next to 75 and got three breakfast burritos. Got back to my apartment turned on college game day and had 6 mimosas during game day. When we won I told myself I was going to do it until we lost. So every Saturday that year I had to wake up at 830, go get breakfast burritos turn on gameday and drink 6 mimosas. That was a fun sophomore year

Hmmm... that has me thinking. I also would get to my tailgate on the amphitheater by 8 AM every morning with a left over domino's pizza from the night before and a cooler of beer. Breakfast of champions. Nothing like shotgunning a beer before 9:am. Maybe that is what I'm missing. Ah senior year

I become a little bitchy.

My only superstition is to not watch the game beside my dad or sister because they will drive me to off myself

That is my roommate. Unfortunately I end up watching most games with him. Guess I'm a masochist.
Other team takes the lead.
Roommate: "this doesn't look good for us. How are we going to turn this around?"
Me: "how the F do I know? Let me text Gus real quick."

In 2010 I ate Biscuits and Gravy on Saturday morning. I enjoyed that one, might try it again.

Me and you could enjoy games together. It's like the world is falling apart at the seams if we get scored on once.. And with how bad our defense has been I know you can sympathize with me

Definitely could. Definitely feel your pain. I've put my roommate in timeout before because of his questions during games

I wish I was this way but I have to feel like I am doing something to influence the game even tho I know it doesn't really

I quit wearing AU gear on game day in late eighties when we lost to FLA ST
In 2010 I had chips and guac for every game but in 2011 quit I am going back to it this year see what happens
Just got new orange sectional for man cave hopefully it has some magic in it the old one was worn out.
Just got a keg of Avery Ellies Brown Ale for kegerator same beer I had in 2010 when lived in Denver surprised I found a keg here in Ohio but had to get it.
So I think I have my bases covered for 2015 might sneak in animal sacrifice Friday at midnight

In 2010 I had to get up at ungodly hours Sunday morning to watch the games because I was half way around the world in Okinawa Japan. I also had two dogs that would always have to go outside at some point during the game. I refused to let them out of the house if everything was going AU's way. Then if things started getting a little dicey I'd let them outside. Once they were outside if things started going well again they wouldn't come back inside unless it started looking questionable again.
Several times my wife tried to let them in while we were doing well and I just glared at her until she backed away from the door.
Sadly I don't have those dogs anymore
