The tornado warnings were all north or south of Bham. I'm not sure how anyone could live in Tuscaloosa, Hueytown, Oak Grove, Gardendale, Warrior areas. If there is the slightest chance of a tornado, those areas get one every single time.

I was worried when I went to bed but nothing but a little lightning and some rain. It's sunny now. Cobb Co. pulled the trigger on school too soon last night.

Had a tornado, at least they think so at this time, come through West Dothan about 0530, light damage reported so far.

not surprised. We had warnings that there was a line producing tornadoes in NW Fl. a little after 5 a.m. this morning. That would have put it heading your way.

Right now, looks like it never touched down, but downed a bunch of trees.

Pretty remarkable how it falls within a similar track almost every time.

We used to sit on the back porch of the fraternity house at Birmingham-Southern and watch tornadoes on the north side of 20/59, they were always in roughly the same place.

There's a reason it's called Dixie Alley.
