Stidham is running for his life, Pettway can't get a hole.

Why can't we get all the pieces together at the same time for once?

No worries. Joey said we never change the OL unless there is an injury

Because every throw is a downfield throw. Throw some short shite before it's 3rd and 14.

Because ONE cocksucker never changes his plays to help his QB

That same motherfricker that isn't supposed to be calling plays.

They obviously weren't good but our issues were on playcalling, QB, and receivers as much as the OL tonight.

he cant hold the ball for 5 seconds or longer against one of the best DL

we have no short passes in the play book

i saw will hastings run an underneath route 3 yrds past the line of scrimmage a couple times

that was it

we tried, what, maybe 2 screens?

Yup Clemson was playing two deep safeties all night and bringing LBs in the second half. The underneath would be wide open and almost everytime we threw a short pass we completed it yet we repeatedly want to throw it 50 yards down the field.

The most telling was the 3rd down where they showed the replay from behind Stidham. All our receivers' routes were still developing when he was sacked. The lack of concepts to get the ball out quickly is killing us. Defense just plays two safeties and blitz like hell.

Pettway looked slow and out of shape. Tripped over his own feet on a couple plays.

Pettway is not good against a good DL. He has no vision and if a huge hole doesn't open he's worthless.

Our starting LT has been playing OL just a few months ago, after just learning the rules of football only 3 years ago.

And before week the last time he played in a game was as a DE in 2014 at a tiny private Christian school against tiny little white boys.
That also his first season ever, and he ended it by breaking his leg and not even being able to practice for nearly a year.

There are 5th graders less green than Tega at football and what's really his second game ever we place him against the best DL in CFB, where 4 starters are future 1st round and both DTs will be top 10 picks. Basically the worst situation possible for Tega. He was already set up to fail. And the coaches made sure the rest of the OL would be right there failing with him with the whole snap count mess.

But hey, look on the bright side. It can't possibly be worse than that for the OL this season. The only way we could face a line again that talented all the way across would be an NFL team. So hopefully after that baptism by fire other teams will seem like a cake walk

and it looked like the first time we had ever run the damn thing when we finally did. my jr high team's offense never looked this pathetic and lost. we dont know how to run the most basic of offensive plays and its a joke.

Even when Stidham had a clean pocket he would scramble out and then hold the ball to take a sack.

The OL is not as bad as they were made to look last night. You can't block an extra rusher when the QB has no check options or short/intermediate options to throw to.

Stidham played his part as well. You can't blame him for being quick to give up on the plays but he could have gotten rid of the ball easily on at least 3-4 of those sacks last night.

Sorry I forgot I posted this same thing last night. F me still in a stupor after that disaster

The most depressing part is that we save the short shite for 3rd and 14.

Cause our tackles suck, especially the one that has been playing the position for under a year. How bad is Calvin Ashley or Bailey Sharp? I mean shite Prince looks like he is on roller skates.

The guy has played football for like 2 years and OL for 1 and we thought he should be our starting tackle?

We thought we should give him a scholarship? Projects are nice, but sometimes you need to leave those to the smaller schools. You can't waste 3 years developing a guy to play tackle serviceably when your schedule consists of the alabamas lsu's Clemson and Georgias of the world every year. We should be signing guys that we aren't having to teach the basics of football to.
