There was no Duke (that I saw) but that isn't a surprise.
I grabbed Prince Tega's autograph. Gambling on that potential and screw waiting in those lines

Not about to go stand in line for an autograph from a dude that's my age.

I purposely avoided the guys I still knew. Luckily I'm old enough to only have a couple left.
I was tasked by the SO to get some for the little brother though. I know it is smarter to just suck it up

I'll never forget when I was about 12 and went to the first Tuberville team fan day. I had a football I was getting only the good players to sign and backup punter Sammy Manno grabbed it and signed it and fricking ruined my good arse football.

I had a specific list of players to get and had to tell Montravious Adams "Sorry but you can't sign that" You should have seen his face

If you had a ball that was only for the DL players and Tray Matthews wanted to sign it, you wouldn't let him sign it. Same type of deal. Ball had a specific had a very specific list of names and had no correlation with talent levels.

If I was trying to sell, why would I not get Monty Adams? He would be one of the 3-5 super valuable ones
Got special connections to about 8-9 guys on the team and there is a sentimental motivation to have them all on one football. I got all the signatures necessary in less than 15 minutes if that gets you an idea how in demand these guys were

It's not a dick move to not let him sign it if you explain to him the situation but just saying "sorry you can't sign that" and obviously making him feel stupid is a dick move.

I gave an explanation that it was for someone else with specific players. That obviously came after the initial don't sign it though ha
