Very fun city, and place to visit. Wish I could make it out this weekend, was there last year.

BLZR, we all know you are too poor to be going to California.

Once Bo gets drafted in the first round I expect you to pay Corch his due and stop being a pussy.

Heading out there Wednesday. Expect there to be a large contingent of AU fans.

I wish. My aunt and uncle headed out. Hope to see lots of orange and blue in the stands.

Some of my favs, step in human poop on the sidewalk, accidental stick by a hypodermic thru my shoe, luggage stolen from my occupied car at a traffic light.

Only kidding.

San Fran isn't where you should spend your time if you're heading out. You can see what you need to in a day. Hit the PCH! That is truly beautiful and should be priority. Redwoods, wine country, Big Sur. My last trip, we regretted not spending the majority of our time out of the city.

We are taking our 9 year-old with us, so a lot of what we have planned will be centered around entertaining him. Will visit Ghiradelli Square & Fisherman's Wharf Thursday, and also take him to check out the sea lions. Doing a night tour of Alcatraz. Not sure what all we have planned during the day Friday, but I doubt visiting wine country will be in the cards. Friday night we are going to the Rockies vs Giants game. Saturday we'll take BART to Berkeley and currently don't have any tailgating plans. Had planned to meet up with some friends that are locals but those plans changed because they will now be out of town.

Anyone know of good places to eat, drink, and watch college football before our game?

You've GOT to take the kid to Muir Woods to see the redwood forest. It's amazing.

I really wanted to go but there's just too much going on in the fall to make that trip right now.

Oh really now?

Awesome to see you are going to make it. Hope all is well, my friend. Maybe we’ll bump into one another.

Sounds like a great trip! As far as where to watch games in Berkeley, I’ve looked at the Cal boards along with the NorCal AU Club recs and this is what it sounds like:

- The Faculty Club
- Raleigh’s on Telegraph
- Henry’s
- Tap Haus
- Jupiter
- Bear’s Lair Tavern

We are headed to Napa for Thursday afternoon and Friday with 5 private wine tours setup and 2 nice dinners in the valley. Saturday we’ll drive to Berkeley around lunch and find a spot to hangout before heading to Tiger Walk. Then doing Muir Woods and the Golden Gate Bridge on Sunday with a nice dinner across the bay. Head back on Monday.

I was supposed to be on a flight today for San Francisco, but wife and I decided to buy a house instead. Closing is Thursday, and moving in over the weekend. Cancelled flights and sold my game tickets. Happy for the new house, sad about missing the game.

If you're going to San Francisco watch where you step. Poo is everywhere.

Headed out tomorrow. My oldest lives in San Francisco so a free room and board is always nice. Beautiful country out there.
Of course the first stop is always Haight Ashbury no matter the occasion.
