For many of us we really only make it into town during the football season, so for the ones who live in Auburn or visit routinely, what's new around town since last year?

Restaurants, shops, etc... in the CBD of Auburn

Condos and apartment buildings everywhere, well at least on Glenn.

There have been a few store changes near Toomer's. Their gift shop type places. As someone else said Taco Mama is new. I can't recall if Steel City Pops was here last year or not.

Gotta say, man... Taco Mama's is just okay. If you want the best tacos in Auburn, they're still at Durango or La Plaza (same owners). Cheaper and better than anywhere in town.

Fratelli's is the new Italian place and it's solid. Off South College in the strip mall next to Pep Boys.

Haven't been there yet, but was just told by a pal that Stinky's fish camp is awesome.

Never gotten their tacos. I get the burritos every time. They are good. I'm not saying it is the greatest place on earth, but quality is always good and I can get a big burrito, chips, salsa, queso (or any other side), and drink for $10, I'll take it.

I hear you on that. I'm just a snob so I prefer to go authentic.

Are there any new bars that have opened up (besides the draft house mentioned above) or is the city council still trying to close down Auburn's night life?

I heard about this place the other day. The place right next to Sheila C's. I may have to look into it.
