Good luck...been there done that and it isn't pretty but allowed me to find another line of work...things have a way of working out...I am sure you will find something better soon.

Stay positive, I'm a glazier by trade and for the most part have stayed busy throughout my career, but I too have spent some time on the couch. Take a week and enjoy the family. Something will fall your way.

If you can weld Engels Ship Building is hiring tons of welders. Might want to check with them. They may have something in your skill area. Would not cost you anything to check.

That sucks. Hope it works out for you. I've been with my company for close to 24 years, doing a job I've wanted to do since I was 15-years-old, and I'm not sure I'm going to make it much longer. 20+ people laid off last week and I hear it's only round one. Gone through this so many times, but now I'm truly concerned. Not fun.
