I don't care if he runs Gus's offense or brings in his own, but we need a fresh approach to how we are calling games.

Agreed. I've been saying this for weeks. Lashlee is worthless.

Dude. With the clownshow we have at QB right now, Vince Lombardi couldn't make this shite look good. I'm telling y'all, we should go to straight wildcat.

Well Gus couldn't call plays for JJ cause he is so horrible. Then we get White in there takes Gus a few weeks to get calls figured out. He looks good for UK, Arky, Ricardo Louis goes full retard in Fayetteville. White hurt against Ole Miss, we play 4 qbs on first series of the game, herp derp in redzone. White unable to go last week but Aggie D is hot garbage does not matter. White to hurt to play today and play calling goes full retard cause we couldn't run it at will against UGA, especially after starting center went out. If White can't play against Bama might as well go full wildcat entire game.

Because no team would ever stack the box with a full on wild cat offense. Lol.. The wild cat is the most overrated play in football. Wanna see Kerryon be successful, get him the ball in space and let him operate. A quality offensive coordinator could do that. Remember way back in 04 when Al Borges figured out how to get the best players on the field at the same time and called plays to their strengths that let them be successful? That's not happening under Gus/Rhett. We are taking square peg players and trying to plug them into round holes on offense. Some guys are good in space, some good on the edge and some are good between the tackles. We need someone who can recognize those strengths of individual players and call plays accordingly.

Problem is if Gus is not in charge of the offense what is he even there for? He's not a great recruiter or motivator. We'd be paying him 4m to do nothing essentially.

Gus is the head coach. His responsibility is more than just the offense. His responsibility is to make sure the team is put in the best possible position to succeed. If that means him bringing in a legit offensive coordinator, then so be it.

we have one, he's just the fricking head coach right now.

I think Gus might be incapable of running his offense and the team at the same time. Too much for him to handle.

We don't need a big name guy, but someone that hasn't been under Gus basically their whole career would be nice. There's no way that some of these issues with JJ weren't noticeable in practice over all the time he's been here. Just don't need groupthink with the offense.

Well at least if you run wildcat you get an extra blocker and the D has to account for the qb. Also will be impossible for JJ to throw a pick, but I am sure he could find a way i suppose.

Dude. If JJ and White can't throw, they are stacking the box anyway. At least put someone back there that can actually make a play.

Really lashlee? This is CGM offense and as long as he is the hc nothing will or is going to change. Even if they fire Lashlee and keep Gus its still going to be the same offense. Nothing will change on offense if we fire Lashlee. They can let Grimes call plays for all i care and it still wont matter, without a mobile dual threat in this offense we wont win more than 6 to 7 games in a season. With the money that is put into our football program, boosters, and fans deserve more than this. Its not even on the players in my mind we have the talent to win except at qb and that is one of the if not the most important position on the field. Our head coach is showing his true self and it is killing alot of Auburn people bc they dont want to have to " start over again." Neither do I but hell how bad does it have to get before we do something bc right know what is suppose to be our bread and butter looks and is like a stale 30 year old open beer we just took a big swig of
