Anybody doing this/involved with this? My daughter is begging me to take her to run the 5k but she also has to be back in Atlanta at 11 ET for a soccer game so it would be a significant PITA for me.

Just wondering what kind of crowd they may be expecting and how quickly I could get out of there after the race?

Should not be too bad in a college town early Saturday morning. No sports in Auburn this weekend.

Also, looks like the registration fees go up today at Noon CT.

It starts at 8 EST which is what, about a 30-45 minute or less. Then a 1h 42 min drive back, on a good day. Combine that with parking and getting back to your spot--it'll be very tight, but doable.

My son was going to drive down and run it but we are flying out of town Sunday night. He won the Lutzie 5k a couple of years ago

I don't really want to do it but my daughter is convinced she is going to win, and she would have a pretty good shot.
