We've lost twice.

Y'all do know we have the same defense that we had against @KSU, @OM, vs LSU right?

Right, in the same way our offense that played WSU, Ole Miss, Miss St, and LSU is the one that faced A&M, UT, UGA, Bama, Mizzou, and FSU last year. Names may be the same but it's a totally different level of play.

Um during the past 3 games our opponents have done whatever that want on us

If they did whatever they want then we don't win. Which we did 2 out of three games.

Obviously our defense is sucking big time. No doubt about that. But saying you can't see us winning against UGA with that defense is a melt. We've played with this horrible defense the past 3 games and beat a top 10 team and a Steve Spurrier led team. Also had the chance to beat A&M despite having mistake after mistake. And you say there's no way we can beat UGA significantly worse than Ole Miss? Melt.

Well duh. No one was melting before Saturday. Now they are. One loss caused the melt.

We won 2 of our last 3 games with this very same defense. One was against a top 10 team on the road in an elimination game. One against Spurrier. So even if this is a new defense, we can obviously win with it even against a good team. But you're right. We're doomed for 8-4.

Ole Miss is still Ole Miss and South Carolina is terrible.

But to play along yes, you can win games with a terrible defense if your offense executes nearly perfectly. However, no offense is going to consistently do this and when one fluke thing happens (see Saturday) you get what you get.

It's not a formula for consistently competing for championships which is what we should be doing with our offense.

Nobody is asking for the 85 Bears but there is no excuse not to have an average defense.

Great argument

We consistently did it last year. One fluke thing didn't happen Saturday. We fumbled three times. Couldn't convert in the redzone twice (one led to 7 points for A&M). We only had 17 points in the first half. Far from perfect.

I keep hearing with a defense this bad, offense has to be perfect. No they don't. They just have to be very good which they are. We had countless mistakes on both sides of the ball and we still had a shot to win at the end.

I think I read that UGA is number 1 in offense in the SEC so combine that with the way our defense has been playing and this game could be a disaster

UGA is first in scoring offense... 6th in total offense. they've had a couple non-offensive TDs this year, and they lead the SEC in turnover margin. their offense is very good, no doubt... But the numbers are a bit misleading.

I wish they would wear those unis. Maybe put to rest this blackout shite going forward. They trie it with bama, and after getting their shite pushed it, you don't hear about it any more.

Things change and teams adjust. We are completely in the dark right now whether the defense will adjust and come alive or herp derp again.

I do think TAM's freshman QB is better than UGA's 9th year senior, but, its the yards after the catch and blown coverages that are just as worrisome.

Gotta feeling that Pruitt's mo for Saturday will be blitz all the time because he probably thinks it worked last time. That's why he did against UF.

What does Auburn do against blitzes anyways? Just run it up the gut?

I'm not in the dark. Our defense is shite. We're hanging our hat on holding an LSU offense to 7 points, when they were starting a true freshman in his first game on the road. Other than that, our defense has been 2013 all over again.

I doubt they blitz a ton, but we'll see. They secondary may be worse than ours, so maybe he says fuk it, and brings the house on every play.

Not having duke's sure hands is gonna hurt us.... he'd eat their secondary alive.

Our defense has sucked for years. Nothing new. We lost to Texas AM because our offense herp derped the game away. It's our strength and they lost the game.
