He's looking to get back in college soon. I think he'd take the job. Kelly + recruiting that Auburn offers = SEC FUUUUCKED

Honestly, we'll have Gus for another year, but not necessarily Rhett. It'd be more realistic to discuss potential new OC's. I'd maybe look to Boise, Western Mich. or Houston.

Kelly is in the same situation saban was. He's not going to have a job in the NFL soon. He'd take it IMO.

Seriously? Chip Kelly is light years ahead of Gus. He won without having top 10 recruiting classes like Auburn has given Gus.

Read my OP. You don't think kids would be lining up to play for Kelly? Damn sure wouldn't be having White as our best choice at QB .

I think i counted right but:
48 games in gus tenure.
3 had passing yards > 300 in a game.
Only 1 was for a win.
Offensive genius.
He's a good HC in the sense the team never seems out of control like Chiz 11/12 team, but offense over last 3 years has been stalled and loses a lot of rivalry games.

While the idea is pleasant, Chip continues to deny that he has any interest in coming back to college. Of course, if he gets fired, that could change real fast.
As for Chip getting fired, I believe this is his first season at the 49ers. The likelihood of him getting fired this season is extremely low imo.
