I wanted this to happen in 2012.
Previous staff was too busy converting Therezie to RB.

We need it considering corner is by far our weakest position going into next year

Louis and Bray won't and shouldn't move to defense.

Does this free Ford up to move back to offense? I know almost all of Ford's yards were in one game of mop up duties, but he was impressive.

Ford was moving back regardless with Bessent and Ruffin coming in.

Great. Thanks for the info. He looked promising at RB.

Who knows, but I think he should stay.

John Mincy and Josh Holsey (if he moves back to cornerback) can take over at cornerback, Kamryn Melton can come in off the bench as a redshirt freshman, Jonathan Jones is still in stock, and we have Kalvarez Bessent and Nick Ruffin from the 2014 recruiting class. We are an injury away from having redshirt and true freshmen at an important position.

Mincy SR
Holsey JR
Jones JR
Melton RS FR
Bessent FR
Ruffin FR

Add in the possibility of Therezie moving to corner and Reed (who knows how good he'll be). I don't see how we're an injury away from a RS FR and FR at corner. Ford would essentially be a RS FR anyways at corner. He only played at RB in games. I say move him back.

Therezie is NOT moving to CB.. STOP THIS NOW. He was never recruited to be a CB, it was just idiots doing idiot shite. Therezie is a playmaker and and big hitter, AKA a STAR/Safety

I don't think he will either but it's a possibility. Especially if Garrett is as good as the coaches say he is.

Reed (who knows how good he'll be)
Basically just a move like Kiehl Frazier's, grasping for straws... Plus, we don't know for sure if Josh Holsey is even moving back to cornerback, we just assume he will.

If Josh Holsey stays at safety, and one of John Mincy and Jonathan Jones gets hurt, we are looking at a redshirt or true freshman at cornerback. Not hard to realize.

Except that he is technically a sophomore with game experience.

And get stuck behind Peyton Barber, Racean Thomas, Cam Artis-Payne, and Corey Grant?

I'd rather him stay at cornerback.

Pretty sure Holsey will move. Plus you said RS FR and a FR not or.

His only game experience is at RB if I remember correctly.

He'll be behind Grant for a year in the speed role. I could see us keeping him at corner for this year and then moving him the next year.

I think Reed moving is a little bit different situation than that. I don't think Frazier would've ever been recruited at Safety but Reed definitely could've been recruited as a CB.

Good move for Trovon. He may surprise us. He was a very good cb coming into Auburn.

I'm glad that he's taking a shot on a position that he's probably much more suited for. Having an entire off season to work on it will be a huge help as well.
