Definitely really good. I did watch him look like the worst player on the court the other night against UConn though and it felt pretty good

He is very up and down. Sometimes he shows a flash of great offense, follows that up with an air ball. He def has worked on his game and I hate we couldn’t sign him. He reminds me of Jaylin as an older player that developed, season after season.

Yeah he is a mixed bag sometimes. He could go ballistic or cost you a game.

To be frank, he got scared of a little competition. Which is funny cause he is better than all the guys we had. He balked when we got Desi Sills commitment and already had signed KD, Wen, Zep

I was thinking that he’s at least a junior.

Would’ve loved him the last couple of seasons

To be frank, Bruce should’ve chose Trey Alexander over Zep, but it’s water under the bridge at this point.

Zep came in to compete for the PG spot. I think Alexander got scared when we got Desi Sills transfer commitment from Arkansas - who would've been his competition along with KD Johnson at the 2.

Sucks because we ultimately didn't land Sills because of a grade issue or some shite

*edit, my bad missed it was already explained smh

Bruce wasn’t intending to choose anything.. he was just trying to sign 5 guards. Trey was already committed and the first one of any of them in the fold. He didn’t think it would push Trey out. I do find it interesting he hasn’t really tried to fill up on guards since then though. We just been running with 4 guards

Speaking of guards what's the probability that we end up signing the fellow who decommitted by the name of Labaron Philon???

Not sure but we are in on some big fish from high school. Like 3 of the Top 10 kids.

You are talking about 2025 class, correct? Labaron was 2024 and yes he is Kansas bound. Tahaad and Howard are AU's 2024 hs class and unless a sure fire potential starter can still be had, he will fill the remainder with transfers (at least that's what Bruce implied).

I haven’t checked lately. Are we still in it for the big playing at Montverde? His name is escaping me right now, but I will think of it in a minute. Need 2 or 3 bigs for next season.

ETA: Derek Queen
