CAP to start with unless Barber separates himself this spring. Roc will be brought along but should get reps unless hurt. Grant could see more work but won't be more than CAP/Barber.

Does anybody else not think Johnathan Ford gets moved back to RB full time? I loved what I saw out of him. The guys is explosive.

I don't think so personally. I just feel like the guys in front of him are better. Might not be a bad idea for depth if someone gets hurt though

I will be very surprised if Roc is able to beat out Barber that quickly. I'm not even sure if CAP will beat out Barber for the primary role.

Cam Artis-Payne gets most carries, Corey Grant remains the all-purpose running back that he was this year (and that Onterio McCalebb was under Gus Malzahn), and then Peyton Barber and Racean Thomas fight for the next spot. Kamryn Pettway redshirts, and there's an outside chance Racean Thomas redshirts.

I expect Jonathan Ford to stay at cornerback.

Barber is good but not as good as Roc. Roc should be good to go by late season like Dyer did his freshman year.

There's no point in redshirting him if he's as good as we think he is.

Please don't be. Roc will admittedly need time to learn pass blocking schemes, but when it comes to sheer running the football, no one else on this roster comes close...TRUST me...

FYI...i think CAP and Barber are great backs and will get their touches, but Roc has that something I haven't seen in a long time

I am intrigued by Roc Thomas. He hasnt signed the paper yet, but assuming he comes to Auburn, I think he can be a special player. Reminds me somewhat of Carnell Williams.

Ford needs to replace Mason on kickoff returns - that kid can fly.

I don't know anything about Barber. CAP is a bruiser but did not have near the vision or quickness as Mason.

The freshman "Roc" looks incredible. I'm pretty excited about seeing what he can do. I expect him to play this year. He will not be red shirted.

CAP will get most of the carries, IMO. I do think Barber will get a good amount because I don't think CAP has the stamina that Mason had. I still think it's Grant as the speed back.

I just watched Barber's HS highlights.

Now I know why Mason says he's the most athletic. Damn.

Meh.

He runs kind of like Fannin. Too vertical. Probably the main reason he's fumbled a lot.

Whoever gets the carries will have a monster Oline to follow! That's the most important thing.

I think CAP will be the guy, and Grant will see a lot more touches.

I have liked Peyton Barber from his high school recruitment so I think he is a darkhorse. I just don't know why CAP never got carries so I got to imagine that he didn't live up to expectations.

Roc Thomas should be a freak as well

CAP has a lot of lateral quickness. I don't know if I agree with your sentiment.

CAP had 90 carries, over 600 yards, and 6 TDs... and not all of it was garbage time stuff. TDs against mizzou, tamu, and LSU.
