According to PM. I'd be alright with it. He's well respected and now has close to 10 years experience coaching

I'm excited to hire a younger guy with energy who likely will be a good recruiter.

With Steele being a LB coach, his inexperience shouldn't be a huge deal

When Ellis Johnson came in, the D staff's average age was ~55 years old and the youngest was Garner at 47

This staff's average age would be ~47 with the oldest being Steele at 57

Id be happy with it. Young guy with a lot of energy. Plus he's got his own rap song about Auburn.

Good hire, but I'll be highly disappointed if we don't also hire Kevin Greene

Yall need to get it through your head that Greene will not be coaching at Auburn.

He's rumored for the position every single time we have an opening. It's not happening. Not now. Most likely not in the future.

So fricking make one. When a guy like Kevin Greene clearly wants to coach on his staff then you hire him. Let him coach specifically OLBs, or DEs, or Bucks. Just put him somewhere.

Travis Williams is an awesome hire and all, but you can't tell me anybody on this staff is half as good of a hire as a guy that coached Pro Bowlers on a Super Bowl winning team, who will go into the HOF as one of the most productive players at his position in NFL history, with an infectious personality that people love and would draw in recruits like Kevin Greene could.

frick Kevin Steele and his petty wrinkly arse.

Where'd he say that? Or are you overreacting about his wife pimping him out on twitter?

Oh so you KNOW him?!? You TALKED to him yourself and HEARD Kevin Greene say... "Bowl, I want to be a coach at Auburn.."

This happened?

From Jay G. Tate

quote:

Kevin Greene has spoken with both Gus Malzahn and Kevin Steele regarding the linebacker spot, but we believe Williams is ahead of him in the pecking order at this time.
