After the coaching change at UGA, I never thought to look and see where Tracy Rocker landed. Just realized he's still at UGA.

I'm curious, but how does Rocker feel towards AU? I know his name gets thrown around a bit on the board whenever there's talk of coaching changes. Just curious if there's any public knowledge of his attitude towards Auburn.

His DLs at UGA have been pretty underwhelming IMO.

Yeah, I realize this is the general sentiment. I wasn't posing the question as we need to replace Garner - our D line is the best it's been in years. More just curious about his feelings towards AU.

He left on his own terms the first time. I don't think he holds any ill will towards Auburn. I'm sure he just does his job.

Rocker tried to jump to the NFL. No reason to think he would be upset with Auburn

As others have said, he left AU on his own accord to get NFL experience. Unfortunately for him he went to the Titans and their entire staff got canned after his first or second year there. It just so happened that UGA had an opening and he took it.

There was talk about trying to get him back with either the Muschamp or Steele hires, but he has kids in school and doesn't want to uproot them again. He has said that he will stay at UGA until they graduate HS (if UGA will keep him).

He is a cool as shite guy. He spoke to the Atlanta Auburn club prior in the spring before the 2010 season. His uncle was my high school PE coach and we must have talked a good ten minutes about that.

Rocker did jump to the NFL. Had a short stint with the Titans, but was shown the door when Munchak got the axe.

Ah, the days of the Titans being a .500 team. How their fans must pine for even mediocrity at this point.

I would guess he feels like Alumni. Otherwise he feels like he is loyal to who pays his salary.
