Tommy Lorino, star RB of 1957 NC team, has passed away

Thought he deserved a thread. RIP Tommy, and thank you for your contributions to Auburn FB

Lorino was the star running back on Auburn's 1957 national championship team. He led the Tigers in rushing from 1956 to 1958 and tallied 1,486 yards and eight touchdowns on 227 carries. He led the nation in rushing in 1956, averaging 8.44 yard per carry.

Lorino was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in 1999 and resided in Panama City, Florida

From everybody who knew him and his family, he absolutely did.
Even coming from history's biggest AU sunshine pumper in Housel, thats very high praise.
