Exactly, one of the teams I was thinking of when posting that, and there are others. I get they are not in the "SEC" but they beat some very good teams and some have been the SEC.

Auburn is THE case study in QB play being the most important factor in football. We have ELITE talent from an overall roster standpoint (5 straight top 10 classes, or very close) but we only did well when we had great QB play (Nick Marshall and Cam Newton). If Stidham ends up what his talent says he could be, then I think we'll be very good next season.

So 9th in the nation is a grade of B? What is your scale?
I would say A-.
1-3 A+
4-6 A
7-10 A-
11-15 B+
16-20 B

Well my scale is every bit as arbitrary and capricious as yours just not near as focused on team rank.

I think you need to chill out. All I did was clarify a post that shouldn't have needed a defense. It doesn't even matter what I rated it when I said I'd take it.

Averaged comes out to just over a B+, so rounding would get us to A-
How I look at this class.
As for signing day, didn't lose anybody and landed 1/2 of Johnson & Bryant so I'm pleased.

I would have liked an elite S, another LB and Ryan Johnson but at end of day we struck big on positions of need and added quite a few impact players. Hard to be too upset with that especially since 8-5 best we done past 3 years. The Bryant pull was big today
