Prices will go down closer to the game. A Bama friend said when they went, they got their tickets right before the game for pretty cheap.

Prices on stubhub will be through the roof right now bc everyone will be panicking and buying like crazy. Then the price will prob drop off a little bit. I talked to a friend of min who went in 09 and he said that tickets outside the stadium were going for about face value and as soon as the game started they were going for less than face.

I had 2 in my cart. Had selected the fed ex shipping option. Showed me the total about to be charged to my card. Was already logged in w my card info up to date. When I clicked "pay now" it came back as "page unavailable."

A very loud "frick" came from my mouth in the office. Ugh.

If you want to really see tickets skyrocket, wait until 530 CT tonight. Student lotto will be announced and you are going to see about 6000 collective "fricks" before they rush to stubhub to purchase a ticket

The majority that entered the lottery from the 30 or so that I've talked to have no intentions of going unless they win the lotto. I'd say 95% that don't win that ticket will just accept the fact and watch it in Auburn or at home.

I don't see tickets rising tonight for the sole reason that the student lotto occurs.

Exactly. A bunch of broke dick students aren't going to pay 2k total to go to a football game.

We had 10 computers trying for tickets and got shut out. It's a fricking scam. I'm guessing there were brokers with sophisticated computer programs set up to nab tickets. I know they have the "secret code" to type in to prevent bots from getting tickets, but how hard would it be to have multiple computers set up and then just put in the code for each one by hand?

nope, really just brokers and concierge services like amex that have direct contacts at ticketmaster. They call their agent at ticket master prior to the time and have them ready to go at the tick of the clock

Comparing to 2010, much bigger stadium, and although Auburn will travel well, a lot won't go because they've already had that "experience". Tickets were still $1800 in Glendale at kickoff, surely it can't be that bad.

I'm hoping to get my tickets the old fashioned way....from a family member via a shady politician.

Stubhub and ticket brokers had a hand with the inflated prices since they oversold and had to buy back or refund plus money for not having them.
