Gus was not here in 2012. After winning the NC. We had no QB. we played terrible all year and went 7-5. Gus played QB roulette and Clint friking Mosely took over the season after one pass against UF. He was terrible. We got thumped in Baton Rouge.

We needed an onside kick to beat Utah State in the opener. We barely beat MSU at home (stopped them at the one)

We upset USC on the road (Dyer ran the ball 40 times), we upset Ole Miss at home.

With no upsets we are looking at 5-7.

Didn't you pitch a fit because we didn't hire Kirby Smart?

Heck no, did not want the Bammer, probable last on my list. Wanted Jimbo (i thought we had a shot), wanted Bobby ( understood why we did not). Gus was an OK hire, but I wanted a break from the past.

I wanted Chip Kelly in 2009. I think i want Bobby Petrino in 2011.

I remember saying that Gus cannot scout qbs. Seemed stupid in 2013 but is fitting now.

This team looks a lot like 2012 if I'm just gonna be completely honest. No one on either side of the ball really looks like they want to be out there competing. There's no effort, no energy at all, no leadership, and the team has gotten progressively worse since the first game. I'm just shocked. This team is slowly slipping into complete "don't care" mentality and it shows. Gus needs to get it together.

I don't think that is true. Players get tired in 115 degree heat with no back ups. You involuntary slow down when you are tired. And when you get physically beat then you longest pass of the day is a backwards pass hard to keep hope.

Time to regroup and reload for the next week.
