How else do you explain none even getting thrown in there during a blowout to try to get their jitters out of the way?
I hate to see the sun set on a young man who seems to be a nice guy but not an sec QB. but it's done. It's over.
Should have thrown the other guys in and let them see some game speed action.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jason Smith becomes our quarterback at some point this year and run the offense like Nick marshall did with a heavy lean on the zone read.

We don't have a QB that will be successful if he can't run. Our passing game looks like a jr high coach designed the plays.

A staple of Gus's offense.
Every pass is predetermined prior to the snap designed for 1 guy only.
Out passing game looked good last year because NM improvised a lot.
JJ is not improvising he's throwing it to who Gus tells him to no matter if they're open or not

Could be true. However, you really don't know how good a QB is until you get him in a game. It would be disappointing if AU went back to the read option that they ran with Marshall, because having a repeat of the type of season AU had in 2013 is astronomically unlikely.

This scares me the most about Gus. He needs to go study under Art Briles during bowl prep and in the off season.
