I don't see them canning him unless they feel sure he has done something that would allow them to not pay his buyout.

Auburn officials supposedly believe that Sunny would be fired for cause with no buyout.

Due to future litigation, I would be shocked if we don't do some type of negotiated buyout and end up paying $300-500k and not blackball him for coaching

This x100.

The history is there, he did the same thing at OU.

Saban and Golloway are in no way the same regarding how they treat their teams.

Nope....not when you represent an organization or any other entity that pays your salary.

Yeah just ask Gary PInkel got DUI drunk as hell, and had a program full of thugs but evidently yankees have different standards than the deep south

Its no different than anywhere else...how much equity have you built up...are they just looking for a reason anyway-

If Bruce Pearl got a DUI tomorrow, he wouldn't be fired. Wouldn't even be considered.

If Golloway got a DUI, he gone.

ETA: And not one person would miss him.

Well if he did the same thing at Oklahoma, and if we knew that, we should not have hired him. If his behavior was worst than we thought it was, we should've done more homework on him.

I was not even on board with the hire at first but over time I came around to it. Now that the baseball program finally has a pulse, we are going to wreck it.

And for whatever reason, a lot of baseball coaches are dicks. My baseball coach used to drive all of us 5 miles in his pickup, and make us run back. That five whole miles I day dreamed about blowing his truck up with gas and matches.

Does anyone have any specifics on what the problem is? Besides "being an a-hole" and being mean to his players what has the guy actually done?

if it is a case of players and assistants getting their feelings hurt, then they need to grow up. This program is trending up for the first time in quite a while and it would be foolish to get rid of a coach who is delivering results just because of hurt feelings. If it is something else, then the AD and administration should be at fault for poor judgement in hiring a man of that character to represent the university. Either way, JJ screws up again.
