and all of next week is going to feel like an eternity leading up to kickoff two of the longest weeks of the year

My flight lands in ATL late next Friday.. That flight will feel like the longest flight I've ever taken 
Whether or not we'll be any good doesn't matter because I'm just excited and appreciative to see another season kick off

Favorite part of the year is this last week leading up to first game. Will stop trying to be impartial & go full posi because we are all undefeated until the season starts
And deep down I will always believe we can win it all even if it seems incredibly unlikely heading into a new season. Because what's the fun in being a fan if you don't

And then on top of that when I do get up on Saturday giddy as frick I gotta wait till 9pm to watch us.

We don't have to wait that long. We get a small taste this Friday night on ESPN. Cal vs. Hawaii in Australia. Better than nothing at all

I'm about to have a load of Emory grad school work drop. I'll be at the game, but I'm going to regret it to high heaven shortly thereafter.

Cal will open the 2016 season Aug. 27 in Sydney, Australia when the Golden Bears play Hawai’i in the first college football game of the 2016 campaign.....
