Yes, as a special teams player. Which i stated in the post above. They even made a damn movie about a guy making the NFL as special teams.
Just because he is good a special teams does not mean he is a great corner. Janakowski would make a shitty corner too.

So because you are not intelligent enough to Understand that different positions require different skills sets, you believe I was looking down upon an NFL special teams player?
You also seem to be under the impression that playing special teams in the NFL retroactively makes him a great college player. Go back and watch the 2010 Iron Bowl in which Jones turned him around like a revolving door.
Then you can go look at the 2009 Kentucky game in which Thorpe scored on special team.
After that you can go frick yourself.

Neiko Thorpe got burned by every wide receiver he covered. Every single one. It didn't get much better when he moved to safety, either. He was a pretty good tackler, for the standards we have seen lately, but the guy flat out sucked in coverage.

Well he has a point, Neiko was toast his whole career. Whitehead was a thug, but it's not his fault he played out of position most of his career. Whitehead was a natural Nickle and looked damn good there as a freshman. But we had no safeties the rest of his career so he got stuck there.
