Is there any differences for students? Or can I still show up an hour before and show my ignited card and walk in.

Still free for students. But you're going to have to show up earlier than years past.
You couldn't even see the end if the line from the arena for Pearl Jam

Im here. Upper area not even half full ten til tipoff. Of course parking is nearly impossible.
