At the end of the half I had the same feeling as I did against FSU last year... Just too many points left on the field...

Our secondary has been the most consistent part of the defense this year.

They have sucked every week!!

Defense.
I'm not going to critize the offense much since they shouldn't have to hang 60 on someone to freaking win because the D is so bad. Would TDs have been better? Yes. Would AU probably have won? Yes.

But if the D makes some stops for a change, AU wins and runs away with it.

Johnson may be cleaning out his desk soon.

That Ellis Johnson makes me miss Ted Roof. And that sorry POS gets paid $1 million for that shitshow we see every Saturday.

To me it's Nick Marshall, Duke Williams, and some others giving all they had and our defense just falling completely apart.

5 straight hot knife through butter TDs for Bama after the offense and nm had put together a pretty good showing.

Who would have ever thought that when we hired Chizik, best of our Tubs DCs , that we would be ushering in the end of defense at Auburn?

I'm so sick of us playing garbage defense week in week out year after year after year.

Put some emphasis on that side of the ball so we don't have to score 60 fricking points to win every damn game.

Watching Auburn's offense completely dominate while the defense fricked up another game.

One offensive play that sucked balls was the lateral fumble.

1. Settling for FGs
2. Not knowing how to run a fricking Qb sneak on the 1 yard line
3. Ellis Johnson

So did Carlson. We are good on the three pointer. Might come in handy one day.

The fact that for the 2nd year in a row we are an average pass defense away from being the best team in the country.

The only thing that pissed me off last night were:

a. The opening play being a fumble for the third time this year. Inexcusable and can't blame anyone else for it but ourselves. Still bothers me now and is one of two things that still does.

b. the piss poor time management at the end of the first half. we had 22 seconds to run plays from the 2 yard line with a timeout and we get up to the line and run one shite play after burning time. We are a no huddle team and can't get up and run a play in a hurry. This is the other thing that still bothers me.

c. I expected us to give up points and a ton of yards so the defense doesn't piss me off nearly as it does you guys. For the year and the course of a few years it pisses me off but that game doesn't bother me as much as the trend.

d. a few of the stretched spots bothered a lot last night. We had one play where a receiver stretched toward the first down marker and the refs casually spotted it two yards short. I didn't think he got it but it shouldn't have been spotted at his feet either. Bama got a few spots that were fair but on the stretched side.

e. dropped passes. the first quarter were littered with them and we could have been running away from them just by catching the catchable passes early.

ln the end, we got beat but we helped them along with mistakes. Malzahn needs to do the following for me to be happy with him next year:

1. clean up the penalties. I get that you can't clean up bullshite penalties but hitting people late, false starts constantly, off sides constantly and a lot of facemasks aren't bullshite penalties, they are easily seen.

2. marked improvement in defense. I'm not expecting us to be world beaters but I want to see some pass rush and some better fundamentals. If he keeps Johnson (which I don't care either way) then my opinion of him as a coach rides with Johnson.

3. I want to see us fight every game, win or lose. The bullshite of laying down against UGA has to stop. Richt always has his team pumped for us but we don't give a shite about it. I want to see us fight each game like in '13.
