Other than a couple of obvious alters still hanging around shitting in the bushes, a lot of you are more positive. Nice to see.

The world is a much better place with happiness and joy. Learn from this people. And welcome.

There has been positivity.

So, what would it take tomorrow in baton rouge to get people excited and back on the Gus bus?

Or is the jury still out til the DSOR/IB?

And will or when will they be allowed back on Mr Lanier?

That is up to Rocky. He is the gatekeeper. I am merely here for moral support.

I am not in love with Gus but I think he can make a very good coach for us if given the opportunity to grow and I like his upside. I never really got off the bus, I just threw a couple of beers to the window and people walking by.

I love for us to be totally dominating but for now, just win baby win. Unfortunately for us, when we are very good, UGA and Bama are also very good.

Nice to see a few stop bitching and enjoy the season.... I dont smoke so I probably wont light up tomorrow if we win but I will toast a glass of nectar in honor of the occasion if it happens...

We all said it wouldn’t happen, but everyone jumped right back on the Gus Bus when we started beating shitty teams.

I'm still off the Gus Bus, if it wasn't for 2 miracle plays in 2013 he would be winless vs our rivals.

Anything less than a win vs Georgia this year is unacceptable to me. I really don't care about anything other than this game.

Yeah I’m not getting back on until he beats someone worth a crap this year (UGA or Bama)

Debbie Downer checking in until JJ resigns, I refuse to get optimistic.

I am pulling for Auburn in every game, but LSU, TAMU, UGA and BAMA scare me. I can see scenarios from 0 to 4 losses.

This. Im still not 100 percent convinced we can have nice things, but a win in Tiger Stadium would do well. I remember the 2013 team. I didnt really get excited until after we beat A&M on the road and looked good doing it. Hoping this week and next week get us back to that exciting place.

Auburn has never been super dominate and probably never will be. We are a up and down program and when we are very good, we are very good. In between is a bunch of almosts, just abouts, close calls and miraculous wins. I think everyone needs to just embrace who they are and enjoy the shite out of it.

If you have been a fan as long as I have, you know these things and though I long for the time where we beat every team we play 66-3 and are atop the college football world, I enjoy the times we are sneaky little bastards who sucker punch the frick out of people...

I have committed. I am riding this bitch till the wheels fall off.

The game tomorrow should look like Miss State/Ole Miss. I'll be disappointed with anything less.

I still believe Gus will crumble when we hit a good defense. I hope I'm wrong and we beat the shite out of LSU tomorrow and win at least 1/2 between AL/UGA. I've just seen it too many times the past 3 years to think anything will change long term.

And this...
My concerns with him are personal and related to my sports in addition to what's happened in the $ sports.

To base any coach on beating Alabama right now is pretty picky. I agree we have not been competitive against UGA and thats a huge concern but to hold Alabama against him is pointless

No coach or program out there would win more than 15% of their games against Bama and Saban right now.

Same. But I said it in another thread, it's hard to argue that Gus hasn't put together an incredibly talented team. Going out and getting Steel, Stidham, and now it looks like Chip Lindsay is capable of calling a balanced game. Combine all that with the fact that Gus has actually set his pride aside and allowed an OC to call plays, I'm happy at the moment and hope we keep chugging along one game at a time.

I get that. My issue (like everyone) has been with LSU/UGA more than Bama given what they are now.

My worry is that UGA beats us again this year, but it's excused because they are a top-5 team (as of now), totally ignoring the pile of shite UGA teams we've lost to the past couple of years.

I know what Auburn is, but aside from this historic run by Bama, we should be splitting wins with those 3 schools.

It looks that way, but I worry that when things get tough he's going to take back over that offense and we'll see what we did against UGA and AL the last two years.
