Hopefully, the rest of the crowd will be there as well

I will be in my seats until the final whistle, I never leave until the end. Not saying as some kind of badge of honor, just something that was taught to me as a child at JHS in the 70's.

If nothing else, the tailgate will be good....lots of beer, stuffed jalepenos and trying a new smoked turkey recipe so there is that to look forward to.

I'll be there. The only game I've ever left early was the Arky game this year. I can't take another one of those.

i think your expectations will be more grounded (read beaten down) so that part shouldn't be a repeate of arky. The team will get pushed around and will quit though.

Unfortunate, but very true.

I am old (Auburn 73-77), never left JH early, never...

I did leave BD in Tubs last year (36-0)... had to beat the redneck crowd to my car.

The last I left early was when Arky scored the last TD to make it 24-7. Can't remember anoter time.

I may bitch and moan all week about how we suck, scream "fire everybody" from the top of my lungs, and believe with every fiber of my being that we will lose, but come Saturdays my butt will be in that stadium and it ain't leaving til the clock hits 0:00.

Never left a game early unless we have it well in hand, and I certainly don't plan to. The players deserve it.

That being said, I certainly don't blame people that chose to walk out on this coaching staff.

Congrats?

Just be glad you didn't go to school from 98-02, in the Bowden/Tuberville transition years.

Meh, even 98 wasn't as bad as this year. I still felt we could win pretty much every game we played in those years if things bounced our way. We had a solid defense and got a decent momentum boost once Oliver took over the team.

After we lost to Ark I felt like we wouldn't win another game in the SEC, and that's the first time I can ever remember thinking that in the 30 years I've watched Auburn football.

And I'm not sure why 2001-2002 would be bad in any way at all, 2002 in particular was awesome.

Yeah, uhhh no way in hell I'm going. It'd be weird showing up and saying hey to some of my friends like I've come to support them.

I'll pass.

Nice, didn't know you were friends with guys on the team, that would be awkward. I'm thinking about going because that is the kind of stuff I figure players and recruits would appreciate. I may not support the coach, but they are still dedicating lots of time and can't help the coaches suck at developing talent.

Definitely true. I'll be at the basketball pep rally and scrimmage this weekend along with the AU Home Run Derby though

And the guys I know don't play and aren't on scholarship but it'd still be weird.

Sweet so basically they aren't to blame and are obviously the answer to our 1-6 season so far.

And it drives me crazy that our basketball scrimmage is the same day as the football game just another way our AD shows he is an idiot.
