Bret B will flop at Arky. Galloway is the better hire.

Think he was referring to Bret B outkicking his coverage in terms of his wife.

I'm excited by the hire and kudos to JJ. By the way let's show our new coach some respect and remember to use Golloway, two O's.

Will attend a game from New Mexico if Kelli Gallo will be there.

Yeah, I was referencing Bielema out kicking his coverage with the missus...not arky out kicking their coverage by hiring the fatass alkie.

Damn! His coverage unit is still running down field.

ETA. There is a dirty joke in there somewhere.

He already signed it. It was for 5 years and made him the 2nd highest paid coach in the SEC. I forgot the exact dollar amount.

I'm sorry guys. I stopped reading after I saw his daughter.

Jesus H. Christ! Is she married? How does she feel about older men? I bet we have a lot in common!

I should be so lucky.

Levity aside, I've always considered Oklahoma a serious player when it comes to baseball. Does anyone know if there were any unusual circumstances which led to him leaving the University?

His record speaks for itself so it's obviously not a Gene Chizik hire by JJ. After listening to his press conference I can honestly say he has rekindled my interest in Auburn baseball.

Please let this be the right one.

It has been shared (not sure how accurate it is or not) that OU's support for baseball has been lackluster and Sunny did not get along with the AD. Of course old rivals and other opposing fans believe it is because Sunny really isn't that good of a coach and he is hated in Oklahoma.

I would say getting to the regional's at two schools almost every year as HC, is pretty damn good coach.

At the very least, a shite ton better than our baseball production. For baseball and basketball, I would be satisfied just making the postseason on a semiregular basis at this point. I have given up ever being "real contenders" on a regular basis in non football sports unless Tim Cook decides to make AU&Apple the new Oregon&Nike

JHoke or JGT wrote an article about this and I was wondering if ya'll knew anything
Anyone know the details about the support OU gave him in terms of scholarships for players not covered under the NCAA max? For instance, Bama has the Paul Bryant scholarships and MS schools give in state tuition for people meeting a certain academic profile. Did OU do that or did he just coach up his players?

I don't know too much aobut college baseball but I just remember reading an article about that and it was interesting. The ability to offer in state tuition rates to out of state students is a huge difference in recruiting considering how much our out of state rates have ballooned recently

Not necessarily an answer to all of your question but an informative writeup on Galloway out of Birmingham ABC. Maybe old news for you guys, maybe not, but here's the link. Skip through the brownies and whipped cream at the beginning and go right to the rundown of his resume(pretty damn thorough writeup in regards to players).

shite! Had no idea such programs existed. If this is going on around us and were not making such offers it would be one hell of a handicap.
