Up here, north of the A-T-L, Lanier is known as "The Old Man of the Lake".

I'm definitely enjoying this and w/out the daily nasty media spin going on this time in 2010. I can remember so many posts back then about "just wait until 2011! just wait until 2012!" I'm not going to get too attached to the future because it can always be different than expectations (hell, there are at least two SEC teams right now that thought they might be in our shoes). I'm going to savor this, right now.

It's still all VERY VERY surreal to me. I was just hoping for a non-memphis and non-bham bowl game this year...the rest has been numb inducing icing...however now the pressure is on to not be the 1st SEC team to lose the bcsncgdeofhaovb
although, techinically, LSU already has that honor...but sheesh, that would be rough.
But, regardless, what a magical year this has been. It's crazy because, imo, you can LITERALLY see the switch flip in the 2nd half of the LSU game..

When we went in 2010, I told my children it was a lifetime dream of mine and I hoped they can take their Children one day and share the experience. I cried at the end when the kick went through. To get to go to the Rosebowl and watch Auburn play for a NC is unbelievable and something I still have trouble believing. The great finishes against our rivals make it that much sweeter.

I expect us to win, We are truly blessed.

Me too brother…

Auburn will be playing for the National Championship again. And in the Rose bowl… Let that savor for a second
