When we can run, we can't throw.

When we can throw, we can't run.

Sometimes we can't run or throw.

When the running game and passing game is clicking.....we fumble the damn ball all day long.

Welcome to Auburn football.

It's amazing how hard it is for Gus to produce passing TD's

Most passing touchdowns in a season in Auburn history:

1. Cam Newton, 2010, 30 TD
2. Chris Todd, 2009, 22 TD
3. Nick Marshall, 2014, 20 TD
(Tied with Jason Campbell 2004 and Pat Sullivan 1971)

Gus must have hit his head after 2014.

Still, shows that Gus has had success through the air before.

The crazy thing is, as co-Offensive coordinators at Tulsa, Herb Hand and Gus Malzahn led the #1 offense in college football two seasons in a row. In 2007 they had a 5000 yard passer, and in 2008 were #5 in passing yards per game and #3 in passing efficiency.... Yet somehow since they've been together at Auburn we've had some of the worst passing offenses I've seen at this level. Its insane.

Makes you wonder what the hell happened.

If you view Todd as an anomaly since 11TDs were vs Furman (4), Ball St (5) and LaTech (2) only 6 vs SEC

The real key is that Gus TD passes are typically down field throws Which Newton/Marshall excelled at. Hell Jeremy Johnsom even had 10TD in 2015 despite starting maybe 7 games and suckinf?

I'd bet that Marshall threw more TDs 25+ yards than less than 25+

He embarrassed himself at the board meeting. Would not be surprised if he retires this week. The new Prez wants accountability and streamlining
