@JHokanson 1h

If the season started today, #Auburn would have 8 new starters from last year to this year, 3 on offense and 5 on defense.

@JHokanson 55m

There are only four senior starters on #Auburn's post-spring depth chart, none on offense.

@JHokanson 52m

Of #Auburn's ten OL in the post-spring two-deep, seven are freshmen or sophomores.

@JHokanson 51m

On the other side of the trenches, seven of #Auburn's eight DL in the post-spring two-deep are juniors or seniors.

@JHokanson 48m

I should note, Jay Prosch is a senior on offense. he plays the H-Back, so he's dependent on formations. So, five total senior starters.

That's no way to talk about young Mr Wallace.

After watching the presser I thought it was interesting to note that CGM said Nick Marshall is basically only being considered at QB. That is different than what the popular opinion was that if he does not win the job he would move to CB.

I think Malzahn was just saying NM was brought in to play QB, not that he was only brought in to play QB. If he doesn't make the 2-deep at QB, our staff would be foolish not to try him out elsewhere.

Agreed. Especially since Hoke has said we need to pick up at least 2 CBs next year. It's a win-win with him, really.

The correct answer is D. All the above.

CGM is more straight forward than Chizik ever was. I figure if that is what he meant he would have said it or say we will plug him wherever is best for the team. Don't forget guys. Jonesy said months ago Marshall was pretty much exclusively at QB by the staff. Another reason I do not think Marshall will move even if he is not the starting QB is he provides one more buffer to keep from burning JJ's redshirt. Also if the spring is any indication there is not a need for depth from an upperclassman at CB. The need is getting them in the 2014 class.

The only ones holding that "popular" opinion were the ones who chose to ignore what the coaches were saying when they signed him.

It was never a fricking mystery.
