2004 was the best but 2010 was my favorite. They were as good as 2004 for 2 quarters ever game. Ha!!!
Seriously Nick Fairley was the most dominate player of any of those Ds. No one was more fun to watch and i loved the way he abused OL and body slammed QBs.

In all honesty, 2010 had Fairley and he was a one man wrecking ball. Love that guy. Mean, dirty, hard-nosed, body slamming goodness. That being said, the 2010 defense scared the crap out of me because the offense simply had to outscore the other team. The defense couldn't stop an offense. Look back at the scores. There was half time adjustments made by the defense, I will give that to the staff, but the D was by no means elite.

2010 Auburn v Arkansas was very frustrating on the defensive side of the ball....After we knocked Ryan Mallet out of the game. Talking about cussing.

2004 for my favorite defensive team of these 3 but Nick Fairley is my favorite defensive player of all time. talk about a man who knew how to enjoy a salty tear. God, I love Nick Fairley.

2016. Because they finally gave us some relief from 12 years of misery.
I'm with you. These guys have reestablished what it means to be a defense at Auburn. I was beginning to think I'd never see another defense like this at Auburn for the rest of my life.

2004 Best for sure. I agree 2010 was not all that great in coverage. I went to many games and I think I remember both South Carolina and Arkansas back ups tossed it all over the field. After Fairley took out the starting qb of course. Ha

Depending on how they finish, I could go '16, but '04 is tops now.
'04 was a great group. Just couldn't catch a break nationally.
IF things go the right way,
