Seems today was one of the best practices of the year, and defensive players want Deion of course, I think we need the recruiting bad after these past 3 years. No matter if we hit the Xs and Os with Prime we'll get the players we need during the time he is here, if he is here.

I mean it’s 2:30 of, yes, all of that.

Well done. Helps to have auburn insiders writing.

Loved the Sexton stuff

Did you all not learn anything from Gus? We would have a great week of practice and not score in the second half vs LSU and UGA

How is that working out for Texas AM? Tons of talent way more than us can’t execute a game plan X’s and o’s.

Right now, Auburn has neither.

I'm not making excuses for them and I'm loving watching Jimbo fall flat on his face but they are playing their third string TF QB and the majority of that talent are true freshmen.

Imagine thinking next year will be better with last in the SEC recruiting and the last 3 years of our recruiting Numbers. We will have a bunch of folks who weren't draftable, and we're going to have very few good freshmen to back then up.

Barring a homerun hire who absolutely kills it in the transfer portal our talent next year is going to be abysmal. Like 1998 level bad.

Jimbo has lost control. Got players smoking weed in the showers before games. I think Prime would have more discipline.

This was never going to work out for Jimbo. The players that signed with A&M came in because they were paid to, not because they respected him and wanted to play for him. Players actually WANT to play for Deion, and obviously respect him. With a good OC/DC, I have no doubt that he would succeed.

One day, I just want a coach to come out and say "Man, the team was real shite in practice this week. Line couldn't block anyone, but it didn't matter because our defense couldn't tackle, but that didn't matter because our QB was missing everyone by a country mile, and then the backs were tripping over their own feet. We looked like arse. We'll be lucky if we can even get in FG range Saturday"

Just once.

The overwhelming statement from all of the Prime guys.

Reality.

Let's say we hire Sanders, and he recruits like his fanboys expect. Is Saban and Kirby going to stop bringing in top classes too?

Those two guys have a shite ton rings, AND can recruit. Sanders has a SWAC championship and two years of experience. The fanboys will counter that Sanders will hire top assistants. Hope is the word that comes to mind, especially considering there's no evidence of that.

Now imagine the worst case scenario, and we hire Sanders and he turns out to not be ready for a jump of this magnitude. All the Monday morning QBs will pour out of the woodwork and blast Auburn as inept, and incapable of making sound decisions based on the last two hires.

Sanders may very well be a great choice, but there is absolutely no concrete evidence to suspect that, at this time. Almost zero data to make that conclusion.

Their issue is the 95 Million Dollar elephant in the room...

Y'all know who A&M's OC is, right?
