Bye week boredom and curiosity led me here. Data from team rankings.com. The site had stats from 2003 but I just used from 2010 for relevance. Compiled a few nuggets for your review and criticism.

After bye week Auburn 10-3
After win Auburn 34-18
After win Ark 26-17
After loss Ark 14-17
As home team Auburn 37-12
As away team Ark 12-15
As favorite Auburn 44-5
As favorite Ark 36-7
As underdog Ark 9-28
As Home favorite Auburn 32-3
As away favorite Ark 4-1
As away underdog Ark 7-14

There's a misconception that Arky has had our number since they joined the SEC.

Fact is, when we suck, they almost always beat us. When we're mediocre, they usually beat us. And when we're decent or better, we almost always beat them.

In the 24 seasons since we started playing them every year, we are:

0-4-1 when we finish the year .500 or worse
3-5 when we finish the year with 7 or 8 wins
9-2 when we finish the year with 9+ wins

I get the sads that we are almost .500 with them in the SEC. For some reason my mind can't get them out of MSU and Vandy's league.

I like the 10-3 off a bye and 32-3 home favorite. Unless Arky beats Ole Miss I think we will be favored.

Arkansas will be beat up. They have played A&M, Bama, and now Ole Miss all in a stretch. They did have Alcorn State in between, but that's still tough. Auburn will be favored by at least 5 prob 7.

Me too. I think its their stupid team name and the fact that Arkansas is the most backward inbred state other than Mississippi in the United States. That plus that fricktard place is responsible for the Clintons.

Beat up for sure but they always play us tough. They have a hard on for Malzahn.

I agree with that. If we lose to them this year we deserve all the shite they've been dishing out to us.

The chance of a good season starts with beating them. I think we do it and carry good momentum into OM and things look good for a decent bowl and a great foundation for next year.

If we beat Arkansas AND Ole Miss, we'll finish the season at worst 9-3 and get a great bowl. From where most people thought we'd be to that would be considered a great season.

None of those stats mean shite in real life.
Next week determines a LOT. Allen is legit and there is no wuit in those boys.
If we sell out to stop the run they can still throw effectively
I''m legit worried now.

People are kidding themselves if they don't see this game as a dogfight. With that said... Stopping the run is something we should be able to do better than ole miss. I firmly believe that. stuffing the run and pressuring Allen is the recipe for stopping them... we're not as good up front as bama (nobody is), but we should win the battle with their OL.

I think being 32-3 as a home favorite since 2010 means a lot . When our team plays with confidence at Jordan Hare we are tough to beat. I just hope we are still sharp after the bye week. Arky will definitely be a challenge.

I hope there are no more younger brothers.

Those Allen boys understand FB.

Arkansas is where I would go if I was a traditional TE recruit. They really get a lot out of that position.

If it weren't for bobby allens kids, beliema might be on his way out the door... pretty impressive how good Austin Allen Has been able to do in his first year as a starter.

Defensively they are pretty terrible... their only saving grace is the Arkansas offense leads the league in TOP. their yards per play allowed is shockingly bad.
