1. The eagle flight was the longest one I've ever seen. Spirit was in the air for about a minute and it looked like if you were on the edge of the upper deck, you could reach out and touch him/her.

2. The military appreciation day was executed well. I liked how they got Auburn and Vandy trumpet professors to play taps from the top of the video board.

3. The refs seemed to be calling every ticky-tack holding call on us which was bullshite.

4. In the announcement on who the starting players would be, Sean White was even named there too.

5. Again, our secondary looked to get diced in the short to medium passing game. It again took a crucial interception to seal the game. I really don't know how you shut down those passes, but I'd like to see our defense figure it out next week.

6. The biggest travesty though is.......the mic man didn't lead Track me or Bodda Getta ONCE! WTF? Are they trying to phase these cheers out or something? I was shocked to attend a game and not get to yell out those classics.

The mic man sucked at the Arkansas game. Dude didn't sound like any mic man I've ever heard at auburn.

Track em and Two Bits I wouldn't miss. Got to get in some Bodda Getta though.

You trust your corners to come up and disrupt the receivers on the line and your defensive line to get pressure so that the QB doesn't have time to go to his second read or the WRs don't have time to get off the press and into their routes. No excuse to play soft like that against a team your are much more athletic than.

What I didn't like was that it did not look like we were having fun. Last Saturday against Ole Miss they were cutting up and laughing on the sideline in a close game. But they were doing through the motions Saturday.

One thing I forgot was the time it took to review and overturn Pettways fumble. I'm glad they got the call right, but damn, it probably took 10 minutes for them to review that.

Actually before the opening kickoff, the sideline was jumping up and down and going crazy. I think they were into it. Could have been because of Vandy eating up the clock on offense.

You can't call holding every play so sometimes you just give the defense a little rest during an extended review.

I'll attribute that to a noon game coming off of a big road win. As much as we all want them to be pros, in mindset, they're still 18-22 year old guys that can lose focus from time to time and Noon games brings that out in lots of teams.

And...Vandy. Even Vandy fans realize we are not a team that many teams circle on the schedule before the season starts. Hell, we're surprised if they circle us on the calendar during the week we play, but we don't exactly mind.

During the radio broadcast, Ronnie said our sideline was pretty subdued most of the game.

what I did not get, was Mason bumped the Ref's 2 times in the game and didn't get flagged.

for real - he went way over the top and should have been flagged.

officiating that game sucked - the people around me in Section 39 were ready to murder the refs

I rewatched it last night and I was correct about how bad the officiating was. I thought holding was no longer a penalty as much as I see going on in games. Evidently I was wrong.

I was in section 8 and the same feeling was there. It looked like a terribly officiated game. I never complain about officiating but this was close to the first time that I felt like standing up and yelling profanities and booing the refs. Horrible job. Horrible.

The refs were bad all around.

I don't know what the SEC does a worse job at, hiring broadcasting crews or officials
