So what do we need to happen?

And what don't we want to happen?
We obviously have to run the table... but if we can, are we definitely in SECCG?
Questionable scenarios if we win out:
LSU wins out, takes A&M out of the picture and gives Bama first loss. This one is clearest cut- if we beat Bama after winning out, we're in. Us and LSU would have 1 loss, we go on head to head.
Texas A&M also wins out, takes LSU out of picture. Comes down to us, Bama & A&M all with one loss. What's the tie breaker? Reading the rules, we'd all have similar tie breaker results for first few steps.
LSU beats Bama, but loses to A&M. A&M gets the tie-breaker right for head to head? This is the one scenario we can't afford if we also run the table.
Obviously we have to take care of business outside of Bama before any of this matters, something I don't take for granted but am not counting out. Just want to know which side to pull for in games outside of our control down the stretch.

That's preferred, but what if they and us both run the table... any chance we win the tie breaker based on a poll or something, assuming Bama's only eventual loss is to us?

I don't think we have any shot in a three way tie. bama would go.

We play good football and win out. Even without going to the SECCG they have to think about us but not much chance 2 loss team goes. We pissed it away early so I am happy with a great bowl and setting up next year.

I disagree. If we win out, and win the SECG, we are in. We would have beaten the unbeatable bama, at their place, with losses to a 2 loss A&M and Clemson.

If it is 2 loss Auburn SEC champs v 1 loss bama it will be close and they love some Bama. Truthfully that makes a great case for going to 8 teams which is what needs to happen.

I think a three way tie will come down to East opponents records. Which right now is:
Auburn
UGA 2-3
Vandy 1-3
3-6
Bama
Tennessee 2-2
Kentucky 3-2
5-4
A&M
Tennessee 2-2
South Carolina 1-4
3-6
Auburn

Agree. At this point just enjoy each win as it happens. And let's start referring to an early December game as "that of which we shall not speak."
