I've been on campus today and can tell you if you want me to tell you. Or do you want the thrill of knowing tomorrow morning?

If I go in the morning and the area is full, I may get on here and ask if anyone can suggest a spot.

We need to be able to set up a couple of tents and my satellite dish. Where we've been in the past, I could park close enough to run power from the car, but we're bringing a generator for the first time just in case.

My senior year was great. I was done with class by 10 on Fridays, so I would go rope off a sweet spot on the amphitheater every weekend. Nothing like cracking that first beer over there on Friday, and then hear the wave of cans opening all around.

i had classes at dudley hall right above the amphitheater... nothing worse than walking to class on Fri afternoon while everyone's hanging out...

Too true....he's actually "apprenticing" under one of my tailgating buddies nephew. They should be able to not screw it up.

Seriously, if I'm not drinking before 8:00, something must be wrong.

If you don't start drinking in the morning, you can't drink all day!

Last year for the LSU game there was a group that had a spot marked off, about 40yards square, they brought 4 chairs and a table, had about 6 people

My brother has committed to the tailgating deal. He's run out and bought the RV and got him a spot somewhere. My daughter and I are supposed to meet him down there tomorrow AM.

I have never really tailgated. Hope we do it right.....

As a student, we hung out at someone's apartment until kickoff. I live in Bham. The last thing I'm gonna do is drink all day then drive 2hrs back home. We looked at getting a gameday condo, but never did.

How do y'all manage it? Designated drivers?

I'm a student but family and friends from Huntsville tailgate and they wake up at 6am drive down set up, tailgate, go to the game, pack up and drive back.

Once or twice a year they may stay in Montgomery but 95% of the time they drive down and back same day.. if it is a night game they buy tickets, any other game they watch it from the tent.

My 12 year old drives us home every weekend.

Its more fun than the tailgate.

My wife does not drink much and I do not get drunk at the tailgate. If we stay after the game due to a big win, that is a entirely different story. I get a room.

Good!

I am right at 200-201...trying to get to 190. started at 217.

Figured if I ran tomorrow morning, I can justify the obscene amount of beer adn bourbon I will be consuming later in the day.

I am at 183 to 185....but not running or exercising enough to get down to racing weight of 169-171. But I am old and short; at least that is what I say when I can no longer find the motivation to work out regularly.

Hopefully run 4 to 5 miles on some trails tomorrow morning to make room for afternoon beer, game time bourbon and after game celebratory scotch.

Nice. I cant get lower than 200. I am 6-1 and when I get below 200, I look bad. I am best around 205-210. I am at 215 right now and can lose 10. Its just harder for my older arse to lose weight now. Ive been around the 215 mark for a while now trying to build some muscle. Ive been eating pretty heavy around my weight training and its working but very slowly. I think I would be better off just dropping to 205 and leaning out.

But there is still hope that my old arse can put on a few more pounds of muscle before social security.
