He was on special teams. He has all but disappeared.

I don't get it. I'd like to see him at CB for a series or two. Just see if he can man up with anybody. I mean, it is bound to be better than the Jones 20 yards of cushion strategy.

Yea the whole Ruffin, Bessent, Roberts trio didn't really work out too well.

Ruffin started out decent too, ever since he got kicked out of the LSU game for targeting it's like he never came back.

As far as I know Roberts is still on the team.

Muschamp really likes Ruffin and wants him to step up and be a reliable backup at Safety. I guess he hasn't done that yet because Ford / Mathews never come out and when Ford came out last week Countess played Safety with Mathews.

Muschamp really likes Countess at S and he players well there. At least better than he does at CB

I am just surprised Ruffin doesn't even get rotational snaps consistently. I can understand why he isn't getting a bunch since our S are solid

You do realize Jones saved the game vs Kentucky right?

Okay? Does that one play excuse his overall extremely shitty play? He also gave up quite a few big plays during that game. He has been downright awful this season. No way to sugarcoat it.

He is like a broken clock. He is right one time a day.

ETA Except a broken clock is right twice a day.

Yep. He was abused against Arky. I get that if you are going to play off your man, that is fine. However, when you play off 10 yards, then retreat another 10 yards, then don't break on the receiver when he makes his move, and let the ball get thrown before you close on him, you're dead to me as a DB.
