He isn't going anywhere he'll continue to split carries with Barber. Jovon is the guy that may be gone.

Exactly. Roc is the number two back right now with Jovon hurt. He may not be the feature back, but he is still getting carries.

I also think we're about to expand his role. He'll be catching more passes from the back field and speed sweeps ETC.

I think Gus is using that light ankle tweek as an excuse to Jovov. There's no way to get 3 good backs equal carries in a tempo offense. Someone was leaving this year either Jovon or Barber looks like its Jovon.
My hunch is he could have played Saturday. Just didn't get a chance to get in with the game like it was.

Happens to bama nearly every year when they sign 2 or 3 stud rbs. At least one will transfer for more pt. Jovon isn't going to stay for 2 or 3 carries a game.

Jovon is going to the NFL next year. He's not going to transfer. We need another power back. His problem is staying healthy ATM.

He's a liability every time he touches the ball.. much like our starting QB. So this potential rumor doesn't bother me when we have other very capable backs
