I'm guessing this means good bye Green.

Yeah, we had him in the bag, man. This, though, nail in the coffin.

Seriously. The Cowboys don't need a ST coach in the next 2 weeks. He could have at lest done this courtesy after we were so generous to him

The Cowboys don't give a shite about signing day. If they want to hire him, they're going to do it now. And anyone that says they wouldn't have done the exact same thing if they were in his position is either a liar or a damn fool.

Some of you must have never worked a real job in your lives.

Im sure there's a decent amount of people on here that are still students and haven't worked for a corporation yet. Regardless..anyone who didn't think that this was a possiblity is delusional. The guy has been in the NFL for over a decade and is well thought of in the business. Some team was most likely going to pick him up in the offseason. This was the risk Malzahn took when hiring this guy.

Disagree. The guy should have never taken the job if he really wanted to go back to the NFL. Coaching changes happen at the end of their regular season. All the MFer had to do was wait a month for frick's sake. The guy is a first class douche.

Hmmmmm You know I really put this on Gus. I believe logically you look at a Rich B and say he is all NFL. I personally loved the thought of having him, but leaving to return to the NFL just seemed inevitable imo. No I didn't expect it until after the season and it stings some.

If I was him, I wouldn't have taken the Auburn job in the first place. I would've waited for the NFL job that I know is coming. Once I signed a contract with Auburn I wouldn't get up and leave until the next season was over.

This. Yeah, the guy probably shouldn't of taken the AU job in the first place but AU came calling for him really soon and maybe he thought he wanted back in college. But forget about your school for a minute: You have a job and they(NFL team) are going to pay you say $300k or more. This seems like almost double what he makes now(I don't know what he makes I am assuming) Are you going to take it ? If its me, hell yeah sorry. He's already more comfortable in the NFL anyway given how long he has been there. Him coming back to college, I would argue, is a different feeling. It does suck but that was the risk.

Exactly. You cant hate on Gus for making this great hire but it did come with a risk. That's all I'm saying. At least it proves that Malzahn can hire some of the best out there.

You know I agree, my saying I put it on Gus was not meant in a negative way. I was just meaning he needs to take responsibility for the choice. I loved it myself and was a wow hire. High Risks sometimes lead to high rewards, and sometimes to crash and burns.

Jay Tate says as best he can tell Bisaccia remains at Auburn. Maybe he'll stay.
