yeah... miller leaving basically guarantees Young will be at RT.... i'm not all that concerned with the tackles... but an interior at Danzey, Golson, and Smith is short on experience.

we really need a strong interior OL to power our running game... especially with Johnson not being near the running threat Nick was.

I don't think Barber is dumb. I think they promised ROC pt to get him here and had to ante up!

I was hoping that Barber could be used in the Jay Prosch role. But now seeing you guys saying he cant pick up blocking schemes, makes me know its not possible.

I really hate it. Barber is a talent, but I fear his talent wont be utilized. I doubt he ever gets the playing time he WANTS. Unfortunately, I must agree with the other poster who said he will probably transfer. We are just tooooooooooo stacked at RB.

Just my two cents. WDE from Eugene Oregon!

I don't think Barber is beyond being able to pick things up. If he is STILL having the same issue after next year, then I can see him going. And why would we stop him, or try to keep him, if we knew for certain he would never play?

Barber as a FB would be such a waste.

Anyway I'm fairly optimistic about Barber and I think he gets a fair shot this year. Hopefully he shows out and doesn't come down with another injury.
