For the next two weeks on NBCSN’s Pro Football Talk, we’ll take a historical look at NFL careers of players from specific colleges. The series is dubbed Pro Football U, and the first installment focuses on players from the arch rivals of Alabama and Auburn.
The poll question for Monday is a simple one: Which team of the best Auburn-turned-NFL players and the best Alabama-turned-NFL players would win, in a game played with each player in his NFL prime?
For Alabama, the starting offense (as we project it) would consist of quarterback Bart Starr, running backs Shaun Alexander and Eddie Lacy, receivers Julio Jones and Don Hutson, tight end Ozzie Newsom, and offensive linemen Chris Samuels, Andre Smith, Evan Mathis, Dwight Stephenson, and John Hannah.
Auburn would counter with quarterback Cam Newton, running backs Bo Jackson and Stephen Davis, receivers Frank Sanders and Red Phillips, tight end Ed West, and offensive linemen Wayne Gandy, Willie Anderson, Chris Gray, Forrest Blue, and Tom Banks.
Defensively, Alabama would trot out linemen Cornelius Griffin, Marcell Dareus, Jarrett Johnson, and Marty Lyons, linebackers Derrick Thomas, Lee Roy Jordan, and Cornelius Bennett, and a secondary consisting of Roman Harper, Fernando Bryant, George Teague, and Kareem Jackson. Auburn would go with defensive linemen Gary Walker, Gerald Williams, Jeremiah Ratliff, and Frank Warren, linebackers Takeo Spikes, Karlos Dansby, and Kevin Greene, and defensive backs Carlos Rogers, Mike Fuller, Kevin Porter, and Jerraud Powers.

I'm not saying I would give my first born to have these guys playing for Muschamp this fall but I would definently listen to offers

No Tracy Rocker or Fairley?
Edit: Guess they have to be really good NFL players. Duh.
