Lol. Unfortunately, the only beer worth a damn at the game was Yuengling (sp).

Damn you would think they would get one of local breweries to at least have presence.

Maybe they were and I didn't see them. I checked several vendors during the game. I would have thought Good People or Cahaba would have had beer there, but nope.

Reminded me of why I hated this stadium, although it actually looked better than it used to. I think that was due to the sky boxes and seats they added in 1991.

It is in a terrible neighborhood, traffic and parking are terrible, the parking lots were flooded. Can not think of a worse stadium and environment.

I went with my wife and we had a great time. Drove up from Pelham and encountered minimal traffic. Parked in a church parking lot for $10, and walked about 6 blocks to the game. People were exceedingly nice, and the weather was not a problem, (a few sprinkles here and there.). We really enjoyed the game. Our seats were front row, about the 25-30 yard line. Overall, it was a great time, especially since I had heard all the stories about the area surrounding Legion Field.
(I felt bad for all the people who paid to park in people's yards. The heavy rains all the previous week had made the ground muddy/slick. Plenty of people were stuck in those yards.)
I also thought it dumb that the local Brewers were not represented at the game. Beer selection was bad, but it was a football game, not a "Free The Hops" meeting.
Good work Birmingham!
