I know that winning the NC is the ultimate goal. It would just feel dirty not winning the SEC though, but I would wear my pocket pussy trophy t-shirt with pride all the same.

UGA winning the SECCG will not jump AU with UGA having 2 losses with one being to AU. A 1 loss Pac 12 or Big 12 champ could jump AU but it will be close. An ACC or Big Ten champ has no shot of jumping AU by winning their conference because even with 1 less game AU's body of work is still miles ahead.

My bad, I should have known better than to offer that up in this discussion. Looking at it now I can see how that would have no effect on the committee. Thanks for setting me straight bro
