I'll set the number at 7.5

Cowart, Holland, Williams and McBryde should play early.

All the DBs will get a chance in camp.

I'll say over. This would include coverage teams, nickle back, dime back etc

Significant role is an ambigious term.

I think way over 7.5 will take snaps.

Significant? Easily under since other than SAM + CB, we have at least a decent player at nearly every position

Cowart, Holland, Irvin and maybe one of Davis/Davis/Dinson

Potential Surprises: Colbert, Tega

Rotational snaps? Easily >7.5

Starts/plays >30% of snaps? Under 7.5

Fair enough.

"significant role": being in an SEC game in the secind quarter playing meaningful football.

Under. Cowart, Irvin, one corner and maybe a safety will get reps, with the rest being red shirted. LBers have plenty of depth but Holland may get some looks

Ton of guys play in specialty packages that rotate in. Got to put it in % of total defensive plays bro

Seems like Lance THompson has all but anointed Holland as the SAM from every interview he's talked about him

Ok.

20% of defensive snaps seems more than an occasional rep.

The more and more I read from you guys it sounds like Irvin is right there with Cowart as the most important player in the last class. Glad we were able to get him from Tejas.

Based on this definition I'll go w/ the under. I think all of these players will fit that criteria.

Cox
Byron
Holland
Colbert
Carlton
Dinson
Javarius

KJ & Slayton could get PT to pushing it the over.

If we get Blake Countess he may not be,not this year at least. If we get Countess the plan is starting him w/ Jones @ CB & making Holsey the starter & Nickel.

have you watched his film? Holland caused more fumbles/turnovers in his highlights than any other recruit's film that i have seen. Kid is crazy talented.

Yeah Holland was legitimately recruited as a WR by some schools when he was fooling around at WR at 7on camps. He ran in the 4.5/4.6 range as a Jr at the Army AA combine IIRC.
