right now I am debating buying an early Bronco. Just sold the CJ7 I had redone last Friday and now jonesing for a toy to work on. The Bronco is a major long term project though.

I have been on the new vehicle train for almost a year. I can not believe I have held out this long. Both of us need a new vehicle. The wife will get hers first and its already picked out. Just need to pull the trigger.....
I have not had a car payment in over 6 years. I just dont want to have one even though I want a couple of new vehicles... I guess i was just hoping the money would fall out of the sky.
Hasn't happened yet

hitting up Little River Canyon. I know some good spots that hold 20" spotted bass.
Then heading to TN for a little kayak musky fishing.
hard to beat being outdoors.

me either and every time Toyota calls me to trade or something, I tell them only if they can get me a new one without picking up a payment.

I have never had a car payment and I am now 36. My parents bought me a 95 Rodeo when I graduated high school that I kept until about 2003 or so. Then I paid 11k for two 1999 Range Rovers and gave one to my dad. Finally traded mine in back in November and paid cash for a Grand Cherokee. I refuse to have a car payment.
This Bronco I am looking at is completely torn apart so it would be a 100% restoration from the frame up.

My dad just got a new F150. Just the smell of the inside gave me a boner. I am ready to get one for the wife. She wants to go Saturday and just test drive a new ATS. I know if we do that, I will be reporting to you guys on Sunday that I have one.
I am on the edge. She can push me over if she just tries a little.
After that, I would probably get me a new Tahoe within weeks.

My wife has been driving a Honda Civic Hybrid since 2005. We got it new for very cheap. It has been a very dependable vehicle but It really never got any better milage than a normal Civic. Its a very vanilla car and I am not sure why she liked it so much but she did.

The ATS is pretty much a given. I will get a one or two year old Tahoe. Thats what I did back in 2004. Im still driving it... I get the goodie out of them....
Fishing bizz is pretty good but I don't stretch myself out too much. Its one thing I have learned in my years... Both our vehicles are getting close to 10 years old... Time to upgrade...
But if you feel the need to assist, I can point you to my website.
