McCalebb has spent most of his time with Cincinnati on the team's practice squad. In two seasons, he's gotten into one NFL regular-season game, making it on the field for five special-teams plays in last year's season-opener.

In minicamp this year, the Bengals had McCalebb back on the offensive side of the football at wide receiver.

"The transition to corner maybe was not as smooth as we had hoped," Cincinnati wide receivers coach James Urban told Geoff Hobson, the editor of Bengals.com. "But he's a great kid who can run, and it's obvious he's natural with the ball in his hands since he's played offense his whole life. Let's see what he does at training camp when everybody is starting from square one.

If he can consistently catch "catchable" passes, he would have potential to catch 2-3 yard routes and burst for additional 2-3 yds. I can see him being effective with a 2-3 yd out then having a footrace for yardage beyond that. Add in the cushion people owuld give him for his downfield speed

He would be great in 2 minute drill. Catch ball, get to sideline.

I wonder which former Auburn player will be next on the Auburn Fan Hate Train?

Hey! I've got a recommendation.

Y'all are gonna love this!

Neiko Thorpe.

Meh I've moved on from hating Neiko Thorpe. He won a national championship which Jonathon Mincy never did...

EDIT: I TAKE IT BACK. Mincy redshirted in 2010 and technically has a ring.

Just throwing this out there, but after watching our linebackers last fall, Jake Holland didn't seem so bad

Just hope there aren't any other lines between him and the sideline to trip him up.
