Let's get this out there. Just because we hired Boom doesn't mean we are going to field a top 5 D this year. So let's all check our negabarner. We are going to have some bumps, more than likely early in the season. Let's just enjoy that football is here, and not spam the game thread.

From a coach at another school who is familiar with Auburn and Louisville players: “Louisville has some good players, but they don’t have players like Auburn has. That could still win, but it would be a surprise to me.”

The biggest surprise of Auburn’s preseason camp might be freshman tight end Jalen Harris. There was little concern about his athleticism but some concern about whether he would be ready for the physical challenge of playing in the SEC. He has been much more physical than expected and has taken advantage of a somewhat depleted situation at tight end.
