Batten made his way to AU due to his connection to Van Gorder + being really good friends with Patrick Miller. He had a scholarship that he had to give up to play and academics was important to him/wanted to be a doctor.

I wouldn't be shocked if he grabs a scholarship of some kind and focuses on being a doctor. If not that, becomes a student assistant.

Looks good. I like the left side too, I think Danzey is going to be good this year. But Young and Smith on the right side of Golson is pretty awesome.

Coleman was pretty solid run blocking. Pass protection was a different story. But you're right, the right side is should be nasty.

Danzey wasn't awful last year. He should be much improved this year. What ever happened to Deon Mix? I had high hopes for him. Is he even still around?

Yea, that sounds right. Just never hear anything at all about him. That OL should be much butter at pulling guards than last season. Once Danzey started on a regular basis, we started pulling OL a little bit more than when it was Slade and Young at guard.

Sounds like Diamond will be limited for spring. That guy hasn't been healthy since he stepped on campus.

I like the starting OL above. I'd really like it if Kozan can come back fulls strength. I wonder if they'd ever try Young at LT and Coleman at RT.
